Meet Kim
"I love to make women beautiful
inside out and outside in"
Lash & Brow Artist Extraordinaire
My name is Kim and beauty is my passion! What I love most about my job is making my clients feel beautiful and confident. A University of Washington Graduate, I completed schooling with a major degree in Math, and a minor in Education, although what has truly called to me is the beauty industry.
I was introduced into the beauty industry in 2009 as a manicurist, then obtained my cosmetologist license in 2011, began lashes in 2013, and was a fully certified in brow tattoo artist by 2016, following up with tattoo removal as of 2017. I am fully certified with JB Lashes as well as Borboleta lashes and as well with Phibrows. I provide lash extensions and microblading with technical precision and absolutely love what I do.
Lash Extensions
Lash extensions involve the process of glueing an individual synthetic|mink hair to each individual lash for a seamless and natural look. For the client, it’s really enjoyable and the process consists of showing up, laying on a bed for an hour and a half, and listening to soothing music while your lash technician does their work.
With proper care lash extensions can last up to a month and a half. Most lash salons will recommend a lash fill once every two or three weeks
While keeping oil and water off of the lashes does preserve their longevity, make up can be applied to the eyelid and eye area, however, it is advised that the mascara is left out of the make up routine as it damages the synthetic lashes.
Always keeping in mind giving our clients the look that they want, our lash technicians will work with you to determine the best style for you.
After care instructions will be discussed during your first lash application.
Fall in love with taking care of yourself
Microblading
Microblading is the semi-permanent marking of pigment in thin, crisp, hair-like strokes on and around your eyebrows to achieve a thicker, fuller look. This two-part process will redefine the way you feel about your brows!
The shape of your eyebrows, as well as brow colour, curvature, and brow definition, will be assessed during your first consultation with your microblading specialist. After your initial session, there will be a second follow up session approximately 4-6 weeks later in which touch-ups will be made.
After you’ve completed healing daily maintenance is minimal. “Wake up and go” may even become your new life motto!
PhiBrows is our standard
“PhiBrows is a manual, semi-permanent technique of hyper-realistic eyebrow drawing in which the shape of eyebrows is calculated according to facial morphology and golden proportion (phi 1,618). The technique is intended for anyone over the age of 18 (persons under 18 must be accompanied by their parents) who want to correct the aesthetic problems of their eyebrows. In order to successfully perform the treatment, the skin must not be in the regeneration process, i.e. it must not be damaged. If there is eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, acne, pimples or any damage in the eyebrows area, seven days before treatment the client can use PhiTopic cream that will eliminate the problems (instructions for use can be found on the package). PhiTopic is available/can be ordered in the salons where the treatments are done.”
Each artist is a person who has previously been a phi brows student and has successfully passed phi brows craft master application training.
Each Artist obtains a certificate, logo with the unique number, introduction to the PhiBrows map on the website.
If an Artist wants to advance, he/she has to practice hard, publish his/her works and follow all the changes in techniques and materials.
In order for an artist to become a Royal Artist, he/she has to have the title of an Artist for at least 6 months.
He/she can become a Royal Artists after being proposed by his/her or some other Master. If all the Masters agree, an Artist is pronounced a Royal Artist.
